WTH?!! Clogs are Back!?!

Seriously folks. Clogs? I hate clogs. And no, not just bc of the horrific crocs trend. I just think clogs are one of the most unfortunate types of footwear available. Unless you're a milkmaid or a clown. Or they are slippers. Alas,  according to Louis Vuitton and Chanel runways, clogs are back in a major way. Gag me. Im sure this will be just like the rompers. I try and try to avoid it but it sneaks up on me and my better judgement. But really. Clogs. When I think clogs I think of my senior year in HS, and these God-awful grey wool Rocket Dog platform clogs that were all the rage. So disgusting. I am thoroughly embarassed that I owned these, not to mention wore them on the daily. Ughh. Moving on........... to the clogs that I must admit are far more stylish and somewhat..... adorable?!? Well at least I can stomach the clogs with peep toes. Oh gahh. Hmphhh. Not too sure. You decide.

These are the same shoes, right?  Well thses Cynthia Vincent clogs are $350 at FreePeople.com, and $199 at Anthropologie.com on sale. Umm... doesn't everyone know that Free People & Anthro are the same company? Clearly the younger set of clog-loving fashionistas are still buying the hideous footwear at full price. So what have we learned here? Check both sites for an item you love dolls.

Another exciting tidbit to look forward to:

Small Obsession: Leopard Manicure

I have been obsessing over leopard print nails for about a month. I'm not really sure why, leopard print has never really been my thing.... but I am dying to have a metallic pink & purple cheetah manicure.  I couldn't find a picture of the exact colors I want, but I am just loving all of these anyway.  Not sure how I'll do it, since the one time in the past year I got my nails done the girl told me she couldn't do leopard it takes to long.  I'll find a way. BTW, did yall even realize how many people out there blog about nail polish? NAIL POLISH?! It's like a whole new universe. And I was thinking I had too much time on my hands.....Scarrrry.
I love this one with the little "POW" on it. Would be better on the middle finger, no? Actually I guess thats her ring finger. So yes, friends,  I am definitly getting this manicure the day I get engaged. Mark my words.
This is closer to what I want... gotta love the sequin backdrop for this classy lady.

I've been searching for a kit or stencil to do this with and the only ones I've come up with are super expensive, wtf? Isn't nail art something that little girls like to play? So if you find something let me know!!

Mix & Match Bikinis

Best way to get the most out of your bikini is to get one or two good bottoms that dont make you feel fat and then get a bunch of tops so you can interchange them.  I hate trying on bathing suits. Dread it. Something about the lighting.... I don't know. Even if I am otherwise feeling non fat and I go try on swimwear I leave feeling like a whale.  Some tips and tricks about bathing suit shopping:

1. Thick, side-tie bottoms are undoubtedly the most flattering. Also the hardest to find. Figures.
2. The ruched, banded bottoms are second most flattering and way easier to find.
3. Ruffles on top do wonders for flat chested girls.
4. Ruffled skirts are for little girls, not adults. Doesn't matter how cute you think you are, get over yourself.
5. Unless you are perfect, you are probably going to want to go somewhere you can get separates.

Both Bikinis from Anthro; about $78 each piece.  Ruffle Bandeau $16.50 from Old Navy.
