Behold.......

Yesterday Anthropologie launched BHLDN - their highly anticipated wedding site.  I have to admit, I am slightly underwhelmed.  I guess I expected to see a gown that I HAD to have, but surprisingly none of the gowns grabbed me. Don't get me wrong, there are some beautiful pieces, just not for me.

Loving the bridesmaids dresses the shoe selection. If the bow shoes I posted below were peep toe I would be 100% sold, even though I already have shoes. I especially  love the contrast of the dresses above.
Definitely not what I originally planned, but would love to have all the girls in different color dresses and shoes. Maybe not these particular ones as they are super pricey...  but great inspiration!
Side note: something about the saturated colors and the satin on the shoes reminds me of the Dancing Princesses (the shelly duvall faerie tale theater version).  RIGHT???
I was totally obsessed with this movie as a little girl.... I hope someone out there knows what I'm talking about.

What are you guys thinking? What do you love?  xoxo

Exciting news, folks: we have set a date!!!
FINALLY!!
I am so excited to start planning, and I can't wait for things to begin to become tangible.  We will be having the  wedding at my aunt's gorgeous home in Coral Springs, Florida. So there you have it: 2.18.2012....
So in case you weren't sure, it's about to look like Martha Stewart weddings exploded all over my blog.
here's a peek at my inspiration board:

Back to Boots

In my world, thanks to my inheritance of my dad's beefcake legs, there are several trends that I unfortunately can not participate in.  One being rompers. Another: calf height boots.  Which I conveniently forgot about as I tried on pair after pair of lace-up, distressed, otherwise perfect dream boots this weekend.   Of course, there were ten variations of calf boots, and one ugly ass pair of knee boots. Typical. I am dying for a pair of lace-up, brown leather boots. Kind of like an equestrian boot mixed with a combat boot.  Low heeled, something that would look good with dresses and tights.
Something like these:  Born Crown "Gilmore"   about $250
